yeah i love the choice with hawkeye standing out a bit more than cap and the rest as it is his book. as for the lengthy comment about the composition, i see it as just a dynamic pinup, but maybe hawkey is loading his bow lightning fast as he jumps back from cap'n to lob a couple at him. anywho. cool effect with the coloring though

One of the things that continually impresses me about your work is that you always find the best approach the particular art style of the artist you're collaborating with.

Great artistic effort, but why would Hawkeye engage Cap with his bow in close range combat and then not even point his weapon at his opponent? I don't understand the thinking behind that picture. It does not depict a scene from the story of the issue and it serves more as a diorama than depicting any realistic event. That way it takes the "real" characters out of their reality and makes them actors acting out a two-dimensional scene for us, the readership, which breakes the fourth wall and takes the drama out of the scene and removes the authenticity from the characters.
A win as a meaningless display of craftsmanship but a fail as a dramatic and engaging issue cover.

I love the rich colors on Hawkeye with the muted tones on everything else. Great job!
